Application Details

Eligible Artists

  • Visual Artists 18 years and older from any country are eligible to submit.

  • Artists are welcome to apply with works in any medium: painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, textile, installation, digital, any mixed media, film, performance (only jpg + link to video).

  • Artists or any art organizations on behalf of artists from all countries are welcome to submit.

 

Requirements

  • Artists may submit up to 10 individual works.

  • Artists must ensure high quality of images, 300 dpi jpeg with max 3000 pixels in larger side and no bigger than 5MB.

  • Artwork images must be uploaded directly to the form.

  • Artist statement and biography must be up to 400 words written directly to the form (please do not copy/paste your CV or list of shows).

  • There is no specific theme for this open call.

 

Important Dates:

Deadline: Deadline is extended until 15th of August, 2022, 11:59 pm EST.

  • All artists will be notified of the final decision by end of August , 2022. If your work is selected, you will receive further information at that time.

  • All selected work will be included in the print issue in September 2022. Artists will have an opportunity to review their spread and make edits if necessary before print.

  • The selected artist will receive a complimentary digital edition of the publication.

Selected Artists:

If your work is selected, it will be published in a full-color in both the print and digital versions of the magazine that will include your artist biography and statement, website, social media, and artwork images. We also promote artists individually via the website and social media posts.

Submission Fee

A non-refundable submission fee of USD 30.00 is required for each submission for 10 images.

Agreement

Artsin Square Magazine reserves the right to use images of the artwork on its website and social media. By submitting artwork via this call, the artist agrees to the terms outlined above. Artist retains full copyright of the work. Images will not be used by Artsin Square Magazine aside from the print issue, website, interviews, and social media posts.
