Application Details:

Eligible Artists

• Visual Artists 18 years and older from any country are eligible to submit.

• Artists are welcome to apply with works in any medium: painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, textile, installation, digital, and mixed media.

• For video, time-based or digital media please supply us with a link to the full video on Vimeo or YouTube for each piece as well as 3 still images from each work.

• Artists or any art organizations on behalf of artists from all countries are welcome to submit

Requirements

• Artists may submit up to 5 individual works.

• jpeg and no bigger than 5MB.

• Artwork images must be uploaded directly to the form.

• Biography must be up to 200 words written directly to the form.

• There is no specific theme for this open call.

Important Dates:

• Deadline: July 31st , 2023, 11:59 pm EST.

• Three artists will be notified of the final decision by First week of August . If your work is selected, you will receive further information at that time.

Selected Artists:

Once the deadline has passed, we will review your submission. Winners will be featured on our website and will receive a one-time grant of $300.00 USD. Additionally, artists' achievements will be archived on our website and promoted on our social media. You can check out our previous grant winners at this link: Grant Winners

Submission Fee

• A non-refundable submission fee of USD 20.00 is required for each submission of 5 images.

Agreement

Artsin Square reserves the right to use images of the artwork on its website and social media. By submitting artwork via this call, the artist agrees to the terms outlined above. Artist retains full copyright of the work. Images will not be used by Artsin Square aside from the print issue, website, interviews, and social media posts.
