We are thrilled to present our $300USD Micro Grant program, designed to provide invaluable support for artists as they navigate their creative paths. We firmly believe that every artist, regardless of their background, should have an opportunity to receive the necessary support to nurture their artistic endeavors. As an added bonus, selected artist will also have the chance to get in an interview, further boosting their exposure and artistic careers. With open arms, we extend our invitation to all artists, encouraging them to seize this opportunity, apply, and embark on the journey of enhancing their art careers

Eligible Artists

  • Visual Artists 18 years and older from any country are eligible to submit.

  • Artists are welcome to apply with works in any medium: painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, , textile, installation, digital, and mixed media.

  • For video, time-based or digital media please supply us with a link to the full video on Vimeo or YouTube for each piece as well as 3 still images from each work.

  • Artists or any art organizations on behalf of artists from all countries are welcome to submit

 

Requirements

  • Artists may submit up to 5 individual works. jpeg and no bigger than 5MB.

  • Artwork images must be uploaded directly to the form.

  • Biography must be up to 200 words written directly to the form.

  • There is no specific theme for this open call.

Important Dates:

  • Deadline: 30th June, 2024, 11:59 pm EST. This open call will not be extended.

  • One artist will be notified of the final decision by First week of July. If your work is selected, you will receive further information at that time.

Selected Artist:

  • Once the deadline has passed, we will review your submission. Winner will be featured on our website and will receive a one-time grant of $300.00 USD. Additionally, selected artist will have the opportunity for an interview. Artist' achievements will be archived on our website and promoted on our social media.   • Even if your work isn't chosen for our monthly micro grant, you still have a chance to be featured in our 'Selected Artists' permanent artist directory section on our website. Each artist receives a dedicated page to showcase their biography, statement, and display their works, reaching a broader audience of art enthusiasts and fellow artists. We are dedicated to supporting your artistic journey and talent.

Submission Fee

  • A non-refundable submission fee of USD 20.00 is required for each submission of 5 images.

Agreement

Artsin Square reserves the right to use images of the artwork on its website and social media. By submitting artwork via this call, the artist agrees to the terms outlined above. Artist retains full copyright of the work. Images will not be used by Artsin Square aside from the print issue, website, interviews, and social media posts.
