Aer Loo

Aer Loo is an emerging artist who specializes in painting expressionism, who’s based in Malaysia, Selangor. She expresses supposition in her young autistic sister's silhouette; allowing the artist to be extensive on exploring painting suppositions through spontaneous painting to suggest the images she saw in every picture of her younger sister. The reasons are her younger sister is born to a level 3 severe autism spectrum. Thus, because of her condition, she could never express herself that binds to our logical understanding about emotions. The paintings are painted from referring photos that were taken by a 2nd party assumption. When the photos of her younger sister reached the artist's (3rd party) hands, she removed everything in her sister's silhouette; retaining the traces from the 2nd party supposition from the images taken digitally. The artist overlapped another layer of her supposition in the physical painting to create an immersive depth from her personal spiritual healing journey and the release of past traumas, to retain hope and trust to the people around her again.
