Alice Wang

Alice Wang (b.2000) is a Chicago and Melbourne-based visual artist working in photography, fibre, drawing, sculpture, sound, tattooing, and accessory design. Currently finishing her BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with an emphasis in fibre/material studies and photography, she has been in a number of group exhibitions including 'Red Things' at Post Gallery in Melbourne, 'Small Arts Prize' at Brunswick Gallery in Melbourne, 'Waveforms', and the BFA Exhibit 2023 at the School of the Art Insitute of Chicago. Her art practice explores themes surrounding protection, desire, femininity, obsession, the subconscious, and the human body.
