Anissa Aouar, is an illustrator originally from Paris and based in London. She attended the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp where she received a master in Fashion Design. Later on Anissa changed path to develop her own illustrations. Anissa specialises in digital illustration to bring the viewer into a vibrant and pop surrealist world. She is a very visual person and falls in love with images. She finds references going from art history to pop culture, anything that catches her eye can be used as a start to create an image. Anissa is often inspired by topics touching modern feminism, dreams, surrealist and psychedelic arts. She has always been inspired by the social aspects of our bodies and the relationships and connections between each other and nature.
