Edina seleskovic
EDINA SELESKOVIC is a multidisciplinary artist with international exhibiting experience. Seeking answers to the questions about the role of culture in our society, her public art installations on their global mission, generate a public dialogue connecting young people and creativity, cultural institutions and communities, art and new technologies.
Edina Seleskovic was born in Bosnia and has lived in the United States since 1991. Since she graduated from the renowned Corcoran School of Art, her works have since been exhibited in over 100 exhibitions throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Edina has won numerous awards including the Sculpture Space Fellowship, and Sam and the Adele Golden Foundation Fellowship in New York. She is the winner of the global award for socially engaged visual artists, the World Citizen Artists Award 2020. In 2021, her installation Think Freedom received Primio Arbiter Fata Verde SyArt Award in Sorrento, Italy. In 2022, Edina was awarded the Plaque of the city of Sarajevo for her contribution to the promotion of the arts and culture of Bosnia abroad. She is a member of the International Academy of Science and Arts in B&H.
Edina lives and works in Tuzla, Sarajevo, and New York.
