Francesco Ideale Vullo
Francesco Ideale Vullo was born in Palermo on April 20th 1994.
In his artistic research, Vullo uses and reinterprets common objects to tell the different aspects of the human being and of modern society. Fascinated by the symbolic power that they can assume, the artist, investigates their ability to evoke sentiments and affective scenarios and to collect and transmit memories.
The research of materials plays a primary role in Vullo's work, especially in his sculptural practice, standing out for his formal and technical variety. Found objects, natural elements and waste materials become catalysts for his explorations.
The most recurrent themes concern the relationship between the natural and the artificial world. The reinterpretation and reconfiguration of household objects or work tools create a surreal and at the same time poetic imagery that portrays the contemporary society.
Francesco Vullo is currently living and working in Milan, Italy.
