Klara Sedlo
Klara is a figurative painter living and working in Prague. She is a finalist of BBA Artist Prize 2019, Germany and Mostyn Open 21, GB.
Klara focuses mostly on symbolic depictions of normal situations or feelings – let's say that her favorite question could be: "What would this situation look like, if my brain turned it into a dream?" Viewing normal life through a subconscious perspective gives her artwork both real and magical feeling. We can find something we all know in a way we can't see it but in which we may feel it.
She works mainly with oil paints on linen canvas and prefers to work with life models if necessary. She is rarely using photography as a draft.
