Laura Thompson
Laura Thompson was born and raised in Rochester NY, and has resided in Harrisonburg, Virginia since 2000. Having switched careers twice, from teaching art, to corporate marketing, to full-time artist, she has vast and varied experiences, but one thing has remained a constant her entire life: the need to make. Laura creates works in oils and mixed media and has shown work mostly regionally, but hopes to expand her reach now that she can devote her time fully to art.
