Known as Photosbymarcia, a portrait photographer based in Boston with a passion for bringing my clients' visions to life through my Expressive Art approach. My journey into photography began with my first digital camera, the Canon Rebel T7i, a co-investment with my grandfather during high school. This marked the initial step toward establishing my own photography business.
During my high school years, I joined the yearbook club, an experience that proved instrumental in honing my photography skills, developing time management and organizational abilities, and enhancing my communication skills. It was during this time that my love for capturing memories and witnessing people's reactions to photographs truly took root.
Currently, I am in college, pursuing a degree in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Recognizing the financial challenges inherent in running a photography business, I have focused on the business aspect of photography, seeking ways to make it more affordable while upholding artistic excellence.
Through my journey in both art and business, I've gained valuable insights that I actively share with fellow artists. My overarching goal is to "express my art," and to achieve this, I aspire to open a studio space specifically for under-resourced artists. In doing so, I aim to bridge the gap between art and business while continuing to create photographs that I am genuinely passionate about.
