Mellisa Edwards
I am a Trinidadian born, Canadian based interdisciplinary artist. My recent focus is the folklore of my homeland, but outside of that I am interested in a multitude of topics including comic books, fictional narratives and world building. I dabble in photography, using many of my images in digital collage or as references for other works. I use to photography to ground me in reality, even when working in fantasy.
