Miranda Holmes
Miranda Holmes (she/her) is currently pursuing her M.F.A. at the Ohio State University and is expected to graduate in May 2022. After graduating with a B.F.A. from the Pennsylvania State University, Holmes received a Fulbright Student Award to study at the Universität der Künste in Berlin, Germany from 2017-18. Holmes has had solo shows in Berlin at Raum für Sichtbarkeit in 2021 and at Das Giftraum in 2019, and her work was included in Edition #149 of New American Paintings in 2021. She has participated in multiple group shows, including at Olympia Gallery in New York, NY, Hopkins Hall Gallery in Columbus, OH, and at the Agora Collective in Berlin. Holmes has received various awards, including the Ellen Battel Stoeckel award to attend the Yale Summer School of Art in 2016, a University Fellowship at the Ohio State University, a Global Arts and Humanities Discovery Theme Grant and an Alumni Grant for Graduate Research. Her work will be exhibited in a 3-person show at Roy G. Biv Gallery in Columbus this summer.
