Samson Toba
Samson Toba Oladosu was born in Southwest of Nigeria Ibadan Oyo State. He had both his Secondary and Tertiary education in Ibadan Oyo state Nigeria.This laid a solid foundation for a rich artistic carrier. He has participated in some exhibitions and art competitions in Nigeria and his works are widely collected and enjoyed by notable art collectors in Nigeria. His passion for children and women and several Childhood experience and memories are the inexhaustible source of inspirations and most times women inspires him to paint because he believed they are vulnerable and also sees them as gods. "There is this things you see when you look at woman eyes, the connection and vibration you feel whenever you stay closer to them".He also believed and see himself as a creator by the use of his colors to create human figure with a depth and meaningful art piece. Samson Toba is a fulltime practice studio artist with a well known and talented artist Oluwole Omofemi. And he sees the likes of Pablo Picasso and Tolu Aliki, Oluwole Omofemi and Eric Centeno as an inspirational figures. Samson Toba sees, his art as part of his voice as a tools to be deployed in order to solve difficulties in society, also a medium of conveying powerful messages to correct certain irregularities in human world. Most of his 'Abstract Realism' works are intended to create influential meaning with his artistic skill around the contemporary world.
