Audrey Green
I’m a Chicago-based designer, illustrator, and artist, and in my work I create colorful and playful interpretations of the natural world. I primarily sketch and draw my compositions by hand using digital tools, but recently have begun to really enjoy the more imperfect process of painting with acrylic.
The characters I create in these compositions are usually joyful or dreaming, and overall I tend to make work from an optimistic headspace. My goal these days with creativity is to keep my inner child happy and just have fun when it comes to subject matter. My background as a graphic designer has influenced where my art style is today, and is probably why I tend towards flat shape compositions with bold pattern and crisp lines.
