Erin Donahue
My name is Erin Donahue, and as an artist I go by Eggdon. I grew up and currently still live in South Florida. I am 22 years old and have been a professional artist for 4 years now and graduated with an art degree from The University of Tampa. I am an existentially focused artist drawn to the conceptual display of all things involving self discovery within society: conformity, growth, and psychological drives behind why we think and act the way we do. My pop-expressive paintings, prints, and sculptures carry an attention grabbing and interactive energy that connect each viewer to their own internal beliefs. My work analyzes relationships with the self and others, the passing of time and memory, and how we as humans search for significance in the insignificant. Through experimenting with different mental, societal, and existential concepts, I present my unique perspective and ideals through visual display.
