Fatou Bessem
Fatou Bessem (b. 2000, Lawrenceville, GA) is an Afro-Surrealist painter who lives and works in Atlanta, GA. Her works explore Black Femininity and the performance of womanhood through analytical dissections inspired by baroque and religious allegories. Bessem holds a BFA from The Ernest G. Welch School of Art.
