Kylie Rah
Kylie Rah is a multimedia artist who explores the boundaries between traditional art and digital art based on the approach of fine art. She was born and educated in Seoul, South Korea and started attending BFA Fine Arts at School of Visual Arts in 2021. She treats various forms of each work such as sound art based on video-mapping, lighting, sculpture, digital printing, mixed-media painting, video art, installation art, and performance in her works of art. She participated in CICA New Media Art Conference this year June. Kylie's work has been focusing on visual and auditory embodiment according to emotional changes. Therefore, Emotion is a very influential element in every piece of her works and she uses sound as a communication method to be fully absorbed into the narrative in the work of art. The realm of emotion contains the process of figuring out the cause of anxiety and inner agitation. She immerses herself in the art-making process by collecting raw sounds based on soundscape including noises and melting them into the installation environment as one major part.
