Melissa Ling
Melissa Ling is an artist whose works have been exhibited in the United States and the Philippines. She lives and works in New York City.
In her drawings, she takes the negative idea of a single type of mark making to explore how small notions can fester into larger perceptions. Each drawing is a part of an ongoing conversation that considers: Who belongs in this space? Are we a participant or an observer? What is considered natural or unnatural?
