Robyn Asquini
Born in Montreal, QC, CA. Currently working and living in Toronto, ON, CA
Robyn Asquini's paintings blend traditional figurative realism with abstraction, weaving together fragmented figures with organic forms and textures.
She studied illustration at Sheridan College in Toronto and art and design at Parsons the New School in New York. After pursuing a commercial art career for over a decade, she completed the classical drawing and painting program at the Academy of Realist Art and has since worked full-time as a painter and art instructor.
She has won numerous awards for her paintings from the Society of Canadian Artists, Federation of Canadian Artists, Canadian Portrait Society, BoldBrush, and the Art Renewal Center. Recently, she exhibited in New York at the Salmagundi Club’s Open Figurative Exhibition and The Dacia Gallery 13th Anniversary Group Exhibit. Her work is held in private collections internationally.
