As a painter, on one hand, I work with aluminium, which I consider to be a living, organic material. In many ways, this material has multiple powers, it can "lie" and deceive the eye; for example, its silver colour can turn into white. It can also change its appearance when crumpled. It is also a formidable material in terms of malleability, as it can take

various shapes. All these qualities give it a kind of magical power; that's why I like

working with it. Above all, it allows me to represent the "ephemerality" and fragility of life. By crumpling it, I give it wrinkles, the same wrinkles that define us from birth to death.

On the other hand, I also work with acrylic that I like to mix with pouring medium, I

called this mixture « acryling » which is also the pictorial technique I created. It

allows me to give elasticity to my paintings and in a certain sense, it gives them their own life.

My paintings do not try to describe anything, I just want them to trigger emotions or to raise questions. My motto is: never imitate reality but always transcend it!
