Yining Lee
Yining Lee is a visual artist based in Boston. Her focus is predominantly on painting although she has also worked in drawing. The paintings of Craigie Aitchison, Matthew Wong, and Peter Doig are a key influence as is her observation of social dynamics, especially around peace, chaos, loneliness, and escapism, within different cultures and as part of human nature.
She is currently studying for a Master of Fine Arts at the School of Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University and will graduate in 2025. Previously she received her Bachelor of Fine Art with an emphasis on drawing and painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
