Agnes Havran
Agnes Havran is a South African-born painter based in Belgium. Since completing her Fine Art degree in Johannesburg, she put her own artwork on hold while she studied painting conservation in Antwerp. By 2013 she was concentrating on her own studio practice, using oil painting to create dreamy, evocative spaces. She draws inspiration from her surroundings and everyday life. Her solo exhibition 'Painting revisited' showed the evolution of her work towards a more defined working method combined with her characteristic use of colour.
